Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how White Whale Agency, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("White Whale", "we", "us"), collects and uses personal information when you visit whitewhale.agency (the "Site") or send us a project request.

We keep this simple: we collect what you choose to send us so we can reply, plus basic analytics about how the Site is used. We do not sell your personal information. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Site.

1. Information we collect

  • Project requests. When you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your project details or message, the services you are interested in and your budget range (for project requests), your name, your company (optional), your email address, your WhatsApp or phone number (optional), the language of the page you used, and the date and time you sent it.
  • Messages with us. If we continue the conversation by email, phone or WhatsApp, we keep the messages and any files you send us there.
  • Usage data. When you browse the Site, Google Analytics collects information about your visit — such as the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, a search engine or a link), your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser, device and screen type. See section 4.
  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical information with each request — such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to deliver the Site and keep it secure.

We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health or financial details). Please don't include it in a project request.

2. How we use your information

  • to read and reply to your project request, ask follow-up questions, and prepare a proposal or quote;
  • to communicate with you about a project you have asked us about;
  • to understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve its content and design;
  • to keep the Site secure and to block spam and abuse (for example, the form includes a hidden field that filters out bots);
  • to comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing newsletters.

4. Cookies, local storage and analytics

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies.

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to measure how the Site is used. Google processes this data on our behalf and keeps it for the retention period set in our Analytics account (no more than 14 months). Learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site still works without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and many browsers and extensions block analytics automatically.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and handle requests, and only for that purpose:

ProviderWhat it does for usData involved
Vercel Inc.Hosts the Site and processes every request to itServer logs and the contents of project requests in transit
Google LLC (Google Sheets)Stores the project requests you send us, in a private spreadsheetEverything you enter in the contact form
Google LLC (Google Analytics)Website analyticsUsage data and cookie identifiers

If we reply by email, phone or WhatsApp, those messages pass through the providers of those services, whose own privacy policies apply.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a buyer or successor if our business is merged, acquired or sold — in which case this policy will continue to protect your information. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. International transfers

White Whale and our providers operate in the United States and other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it — for example, for transfers from the EEA or the UK — we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or our providers' participation in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

  • Project requests and messages — for as long as we need them to respond to you and follow up, and to keep reasonable business records. If we go on to work together, records of the engagement are kept as your agreement with us and the law require. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
  • Analytics data — for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, no more than 14 months.
  • Server logs — for the short period our hosting provider keeps them.

8. Security

The Site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and project requests are stored in an account that only White Whale can access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive it in a portable format.

To make a request, contact us through our contact form. We will reply within the time the law requires (usually 30 days), and we may need to confirm your identity first. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information. You can exercise the rights above as described.

10. Children

The Site is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. In the EEA and the UK, people under 16 should only contact us with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us through our contact form and we will delete it.

11. Other websites and our products

The Site links to other websites, including our own products Vlibr and Hirelinky. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party websites.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the Site.
